The Festival runs:
Thursday December 21st 6 - 9:30pm and
Our stage on Kensington Avenue goes live from 7-7:30 and 7:45-8:15pm!
A little background: I started CircleSing! as a single mom, and it was crunch time before I even got started. I've had a great time, and done very well but always craved more. I always wanted to offer more....and the Kensington Market Winter Solstice Festival is where that's always hit me hardest. It's a busy time of year for everyone in every way, and moreso with youngins running around.
In recent years, Allegra has lived far away enough, and has been busy enough we don't get much time. I've been busy too! For the last five years we've really focused some of this time she can visit on sprucing up the show. It is OUR holiday, this whole thing. It's really very special to us in every way.
We've made exciting new ponchos and headbands together, and added harmonies to songs together, worked on dances together....it's a really nice way to spend time, and also helps us bring the great show of which I dream!
This year we finally got the sign done. I've been working on (holding on to) this simple sign for THREE WHOLE YEARS! And dreaming about it since Day One. IT's DONE! YAY!
